Heh-copto's

Last week my good pal, Teresa, treated us to an afternoon at airport two. To some, this might not sound so exciting, but to a mom of two wild boys in desperate need of entertainment, it was an answer to a prayer!

This is Teresa's little man, Rossi, cheezin' it up for the camera. He was probably thinking, "This helicopter stuff is old news to me," since his dad is in the national guard and he gets to see the "heh-copto's" (as Asher calls them) a lot more than we do.

Asher was totally happy, just like he is anytime he gets a little freedom.

This is Taz and Asher inside of the Blackhawk.

Taz was making me nervous, because he kept wanting to go up front (even though we had all told him no already). I was just sure he'd break something or hit a button and the propellers or wheels would start moving or...just that SOMETHING bad would happen.

The funniest part of the day (besides the guy who had all of the STAR WARS collectibles in his office that Taz totally went NUTS over) was that with all of the huge helicopters there, what did the kids like the most? The maintenance vehicle...

Thanks Teresa, Nate and Rossi. It was a great break in the usual routine!

P.S. And no, I didn't put my kids in camo just because we were going to see the helicopters. What a lovely coincidence, though!

How perfect for your boys. Thanks for clearing up the camo part at the end because just before I read that I was wondering if you did it on purpose. What a great photo-op though.

Hehehe! That was a pretty perfect day! Next time we hang out-lets leave the boys home.
