Asher's Surgery

So, we had sort of a challenge this past week. At Asher's 18 mo. well check, our pediatrition found a growth in his ear and sent us to Primary Children's to see a specialist. After a visit to the ENT, an MRI and another visit to the ENT, they decided it is a cholesteatoma (don't look it up online, it makes is sound way worse than it is!). He had surgery yesterday and had it removed. They had to do some reconstruction of his eardrum, but they think his hearing will not suffer. Poor little guy! He had to go until 12:30 with nothing but a little jello at 8 am to eat. He was so hungry that he was trying to eat the bubbles! He would catch them in a cup and try to slurp them! He is doing so well, though. Thanks for all your prayers.
